The Boiling Seafood Experience

Another Alabang escapade! I've suddenly been coming here more often for the past few months, and during one of those visits I was able to try out this great seafood restaurant called The Boiling Seafood. I'm excited to share with you guys the yummy seafood we were able to partake that day. Crabs, shrimps, clams, and mussels you name it we tried it! These were dipped in different sauces that are all mouth-wateringly good.

Let's take a look at the dishes we sampled that day. Everything's really good I must say! There are 5 types of sauces that you can choose from the menu. Your choice of seafood will arrive covered in plastic dipped in the sauce of your choice as well. You can choose how many grams of seafood you want to order.

All the tables are already laden with buckets and aprons that you can use later on while eating. You throw the shells in the bucket and the apron will help you avoid unnecessary stains on the shirt. You may also use your hands here so that you will be able to eat more servings of the shrimps and crabs.

The first dish served was the appetizer of Crispy Calamari (P285). It tasted really good with just the right amount of crispiness.

Next up was Pirate Paul's Buffalo Wings (P295/6pcs or P575/12pcs) which are fried and cooked with sweet and mildly spicy sauce served with ranch dressing. This is how I love my wings! Sweet but not too spicy!

This is the moment we have all been waiting for as the main course is finally served! Seafood heaven here we come! Here's a tip on how to order from the seafood menu:

Step 1: Pick your seafood (shrimps, crabs, clams, or lobster)
Step 2: Pick your sauce (cajun, sweet chili garlic, aligue, coconut curry, or butter garlic)
Step 3: How hot do you want it? (Tame, Mild, or Wild)

Cajun Sauce - I love the combination of the slightly spicy and garlicky flavor as it added to the taste of the mussels. (Mussels are P325/ 400grams)

Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce - This is my favorite sauce among them all. I love sweet chili and luckily they served this in the tame version as I don't like them super spicy. (Shrimps are P595/ 350grams)

Coconut Curry Sauce - If you're not a big fan of coconut curry, then you'll be after this one. The curry taste is not too overpowering and it mixed really well with the clams. (Clams are P325/ 400 grams).

Aligue (Crab Fat) Sauce - Cholesterol is the first word that comes to mind but I can't help but get second servings as this dish of shrimps with crab fat is sooooo good! (Shrimps are P595/ 350grams).

Of course, the day would not be complete without the crab!!! Crab Garlic Overload (P195/ 100 grams) was also served and whew it was so yummy that it definitely made my day! You can even ask the servers to crack open the shells for you.

After we thought that all the food had already been served to us, we were surprised that they still served the BBQ Hickory Baby Back Ribs (full slab P995/ half slab P565). Tasty rib goodness glazed with apple bbq sauce served with fries on the side. This is one heavy meal and I feel that this is really worth the money. Will definitely order this again!

Before going home, they even let us take home a dish of Creamy Marinara Pasta which was very creamy and flavorful. I even ordered this dish again on my second visit to the Boiling Seafood.

Thank you to Mr. Paul Benito for the very warm welcome. Will definitely return many more times!

Ciao!
